Professional Dryer Vent Cleaning in Sacramento
Stop the Fire Hazard Hidden in Your Walls.
Faster drying, lower electric bills, and total peace of mind.
Is Your Dryer Taking More Than One Cycle?
If your clothes are still damp after 45 minutes, your dryer isn’t broken—your vent is choked.
In Sacramento, many homes (especially in Elk Grove, Natomas, and Roseville) are built with laundry rooms on the second floor or in the center of the house. This requires long, winding duct runs that trap lint fast. When airflow is restricted, heat builds up, and the risk of fire skyrockets.
Warning Signs You Need a Cleaning Now:
⚠️ Clothes are hot to the touch but still damp.
⚠️ The top of the dryer feels unusually hot.
⚠️ You smell a “burning” odor in the laundry room.
⚠️ The outside vent flap doesn’t open when the dryer is on.

Joe is so responsive and thorough. He goes above and beyond and has VERY reasonable prices. He and his team took extra time and detail when they could have taken short cuts and I would be none the wiser. I trust them completely.Posted on Allison SimsTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. After looking online at several companies that clean chimneys, I’m glad I chose Aloha Home Services rather than the ones that offered an inexpensive cleaning. Joe explained the whole process, costs and even recommended a product called Rutland Sweep Soot Remover on Amazon to keep it clean afterwards. During the inspection Joe also identified several areas of cracks & damage that needed repairs to keep the chimney safe for regular use. The before and after pictures show the creosote build up that was scrubbed off then the walls were painted with a High Heat Fire Box Coating. The outside chimney shoulders were cleaned, re-sloped to improve drained, repaired then sealed with a protective coating. The very small outside ash door and box was cleaned and enlarged making ash removal much easier. Finally, the top of the chimney was clean, repaired resealed and topped with a heavy duty chimney cap. All these repairs and upgrades will give us another 50 years with this classic fireplace! Overall, I am most impressed with Aloha Home Services professionalism, honest estimates with no surprise add-ons, thorough work, timely service, making this a refreshingly pleasant home service! You may find services for less elsewhere, but you will not find better than Aloha Home Services. They are worth it!Posted on Jennie StroupTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Responsive, great communication! While several other companies were going to charge me $1k to diagnose my fireplace problem, Joe spent 20 min with me on the phone and was able to diagnose something that cost me $75. So, a month or two later I contacted him about another of our properties. Again, fast communication, and he came out within 24 hrs. An absolute pleasure to work with.Posted on Ana BojorquezTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. You the manPosted on Peter FongTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. I reached out to several companies on Yelp for chimney and fireplace inspections and a friend of mine recommended Joe and Aloha Home Services. In the same week, Christian came out and did a fireplace inspection and detailed what was wrong with Joe calling to follow up and explaining further what fixes were recommended. Joe was very up front and honest about everything; pricing, labor, parts, etc. He and Christian was able to come out the following day and complete the repairs. At no point in the process where I felt pressured or upsold on anything. Joe's attitude and work ethic stands out the most. He actually advised me to check my gutters and told me how to clean them with what supplies and tools to get and the dangers of not cleaning them. This absolute transparency is amazing and extremely hard to find. Above all else, I highly recommended Aloha Home Services for not just for fireplace repairs but any thing they have listed. Will reach out again for future services.Verified by TrustindexTrustindex verified badge is the Universal Symbol of Trust. How We Clean Where Others Can't
Many “budget” cleaners just stick a vacuum in the wall. That pushes the clog deeper. At Aloha Home Services, we use a professional rotary brush system that snakes through the entire duct run from your machine all the way to the roof or side exit.
Our 4-Step Safety Process:
Airflow Measurement: We test the exit velocity before we start to establish a baseline.
Rotary Brushing: We feed a flexible rod with a spinning brush through the duct, scrubbing the walls and breaking up stubborn lint cakes.
HEPA Extraction: A powerful vacuum captures the debris instantly, so no dust enters your home.
Final Test: We re-measure the airflow to prove the difference and ensure the backdraft damper is working correctly.
Why Is This Critical for Sacramento Homes?
According to the US Fire Administration, 2,900 home dryer fires are reported each year. The leading cause? Failure to clean.
In our dry California climate, lint acts like kindling. A single spark from a heating element can ignite the buildup in your walls. Regular cleaning is not just about dry clothes it’s about protecting your family and your property.
